This will be a scraptabulous weekend of Scrappin' & Yappin' fun in the glorious city of Winston Salem, NC.
Your full weekend will begin at 10:00 am on Friday, August 17, 2012 and last until 4pm on Sunday, August 19, 2012.

Your accommodations at the hotel are absolutely fabulous. Each room is a two room suite that consist of a private bedroom with one king bed or two queen beds and a separate living room. Other amenities in your room include wet bar, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, iron with board, hairdryer, two telephones with voice mail, high-speed wireless internet access and two remote control televisions with cable and in-suite movies.
With hotel stay,...a complimentary, full cooked-to-order breakfast is served each morning in The Grille Restaurant. This breakfast featuring everything from grits and waffles, made to order omelets, to bagels topped with cream cheese and fresh fruit. Also, a nightly Manager's Reception features favorite beverages and hors d'oeuvres.
The hotel features an indoor heated pool, whirlpool and fitness center.
There is a Starbucks Coffee and Tranquility Day Spa & Salon in the hotel.
Our crop room will be in the South Exhibit Hall which is in the lower level of the Benton Convention Center. This will give us lots of room for our scrappin' & yappin' fun! Your access to the convention center from the hotel is an indoor corridor... You will NOT have to go outside to go from your
hotel room to the crop room. I visited this property and it is exquisite! Each person will have a 6 foot table with power access. Feel free to bring anything and everything that you'll want to work with.
There will be a beverage station of coffee, iced tea and water in the crop room from the beginning of the event until the end of the event.
As with all of our retreats, your fee includes dinner on Friday and Saturday evening. These are always full dinners with meat and vegetables.
Each attendee will receive a FREE gift just for attending. We will have drawings all weekend so you'll have many opportunities to win even more FREE gifts. We will also have a sketch contest and a 2-page layout contest. These are optional for each person. The winner's of these contest will win FREE gifts as well.
There will be a GRAND PRIZE drawing at the close of the weekend. The winner of this will receive a FREE weekend retreat. The winner will choose any one of our weekend retreats within the next 12 months and attend for FREE.

There will be vendors on site from a retail scrapbook shop, Creative Memories, Stampin' Up! and Close To My Heart. You will be able to buy products on the spot that you need to complete those pages and projects. I will list the vendors here as they confirm their attendance to this event.
The vendors will offer make-n-takes, classes and workshops. Some of these are FREE and some may have a small fee. Be sure to inquire with each vendor upon your arrival to the event. They want to meet you and would love an opportunity to tell you what they have in store for the weekend.
